Our club brings together beginners, rising talent, and the very best experienced players in Ireland across all age groups. Through coaching, tournaments and social play, we aim to build both players and community.

Knights of Éanna is a home for chess lovers of all ages and skill levels. You’ll find everything from curious newcomers and ambitious adult learners to accomplished players and respected veterans who have been part of our club for many seasons. Together, they create the supportive and inspiring environment that defines Knights of Éanna.

Joining the Club
If you decide to join the club after your visit there is an annual charge as follows:
Adult Membership: €50
Under 18 Membership: €30
€10 discount for each additional under 18 from the same family.

Do parents also join?
Non-playing parents are not required to pay a membership.
Can I come to the club night and not play on a team?
Yes, visitors or non-league playing members are welcome. If you visit the club frequently you will have to become a member at a reduced rate of €30.
Will I get to play on a league team?
Yes, if you want to play on a team we will find a spot for you.
When do I pay membership?
Your membership can be paid at the club or online and must be paid before January 1st of the season.
How do I pay?
You can pay online or in person at the club.
Is the club accessible?
If membership or fees are a barrier to you playing chess with us, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you. We believe chess is for everyone.
