Éanna March 2026 Quad

Following on from the success of our February Quad tournament, we're delighted to be running the Éanna March 2026 Quad.

A quick recap on how the quad works...

This is an individual tournament - no teammates required

Format

• FIDE Rated
• One-day event
• 3 rounds
• Time control: 60+30
• Players are placed into groups of four at check-in, and each player plays the other three in their group (round-robin).

Prizes

• Winner takes all in each group
• €60 per group of four players

Capacity

• Maximum 112 players

Entries & Check-in

• Enter as an individual, not a team, at the ICU event page
• Entries close: 10:15 on the day
• Check-in is mandatory
• Groups will then be formed at 10:20‍
• Round 1 starts at 10:30

Pairings / Groups

• Players will be divided into groups of four based on ICU rating, starting from the top of the initial seeding.
• If the final group has more than four players, it will be run as a Swiss.

Schedule

• Round 1: 10:30
• Round 2: Immediately after Round 1
• Round 3: 18:00
